I am so sorry for your loss. My daughter's "Poo" got killed a few months ago and we are still grieving her loss. He was a wonderful big old sloppy, kissing thing. He loved kids. Tara and I got him after Wesley died and he filled that lonliness. When we lost him it was like losing Wesley all over again. I know some people can't associate an animal as a member of the family but they definitely are. My little Sydney knows he's human - he's never even thought he was a dog. LOL

Having a newborn will help some but Sophia will always have a special place in your heart and memories.

I agree with you wholeheartedly!  Evalyn will be SOOOO special, but Sophia will be special forever in a different kind of a way.
