The Funk--OT

I always thought pregancy was a "beautiful" thing.  OMG was I so wrong!!  I have been nothing but sick since I found out!!  Dont get me wrong, I have got to have 3 ultrasounds and I think my baby is the cutest lil "tadpole" lookin creature on the planet, I got to hear the heartbeat at 180 beats a min. and its the most beautiful sound I have ever heard....but Im SICK OF BEING SICK!!!

So...My reason for posting ur wondering...especially in the Alabama forum and not in the pregnancy forum....??  Good question.  I know you guys better, I trust you guys, and I love you guys, and even if none of you have been through this personally you will probably make me feel tons better just by your sweet words of caring and kindness.

I love you all, and I miss my alabama board!!

BTW, we spent all of yesterday in the Crestwood ER and finally the dr came in and told me everything was fine, the baby is doing great, and I think I have the flu...or something, they didnt know...good drs huh?

You will be fine. I was sick when I was PG with David.He will be 26 yrs old in Jan. But it just lasted a month.eat crackers and drink tea if you can. With (Shelly) my husband was sick.
So what are you going to name your little girl or boy? I think its a girl!Oh July 15th is my anniverary,(42 yrs). You take care,rest up,eat right and you will do great.FROGGY AKA Ellen

Aww, bless your heart! Can they give you any medicine to deal with the sickness?
Prayerfully, its just a "phase" and the rest of your pregnancy will be easier.

Oh WOW...but now I will tell you, I had four and I was sick the whole time with one, none at all with one, and a ilttle with the others.  I pray that you are better soon and can enjoy this awesome time of your life. 

Me too all three sick the first three months and with one sick for 9 months... I only gained 23 lbs with the last baby she was the healthyest and is the smartest of the three...who knew. nibble crackers and herbal tea is a great idea for the touchy tummy. God Bless you and your baby.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE ALL OF YOU!!!

Chad and I finally made up our mind (so far) on names, Cayleigh Madeline for a girl and Caleb Mason for a boy.

The sickness i have currently isnt due to being pregnant, i literally have the funk...either the flu or a respiratory infection.

I am 8 weeks and 1 day, and I cant wait to hit 12 weeks...They all say it gets good for the second trimester!
