And while your pathetic "god(s)" are at it, can I get a kitchen remodel with all top notch cabinetry (Neff cabinets maybe) and some nice granite countertops? And please be sure to have "god(s)" make sure I get the bluetooth module in that Aston Martin.

Gotta roll in style you know.

(Psst....you people are really pathetic)

Draz, I normally do not reply to such post and -- (This will be my one and final reply to your post)  First let me be clear---everyone in this country has the right to believe and say how they feel about any subject.  I do not make "fun" of atheist or agnostics nor do I disrespect them.  After all--I used to be one.  I do not think you are pathetic--I do believe you are wrong.  That is my right--just as it is your right to call me pathetic--although it is rude.

I will pray for you and ask for everything you want--(even if I am pathetic).  I really hope you get what you want--but most of all I hope you get what you need.

If you are not sure what you need the following will help you out.

Romans 3:22-24 (New International Version)

22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

John 3:16 (New International Version)
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life

Matthew 7:1-12
1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you

3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
6"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.
7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

BTW--You may have some trouble getting what you want--if you can't get what you need,  which is to accept the Lord as your Savior (or God if you are Jewish)--want goodness for others--and judge yourself more harshly than you do others.  But, good luck anyway--and I am serious--I will pray for you to get your kitchen and Aston Martin along with what you really need!

God Bless and have a very Merry Christmas or a Happy Hanukah

Volfan, I hope you do realize that you're not going to convince with Bible verses anyone who does not believe in the Bible. Would my posting verses from the Koran convince you that your prayers should be given to Allah?

I'm swinging chickens in hopes that you will come to accept the Flying Spagetti Monster as your personal saviour---may He touch you with His noodly appendage. (R)amen!

You are probably correct that I won't convince anyone.  Who knows what will?  Something and someone convinced me.  And as for the Koran and your flying Spagetti Monster--I would not disrespect you or make fun of you if that was your true belief.  That seems to be a big difference.  I think you have the right to believe what you want (if you are not harming anyone) even though I wish you believed in God.  A lot of atheist and agnostics feel the need to tell us how stupid we are for our belief.

I understand Drez and you are smart and educated.  I only have a B.S. in Organizational Management and a six-sigma Black Belt in Lean Manufacturing problem solving.  Nothing to compare with you folks--but it does not take education to have faith--which I have.

Do some have to put down and disrespect other people to make themselves feel more intelligent?  It seems so to me.  It seems some cruise forums looking for the opportunity.

Now you folks think I am wrong about what happens to me after my life is over in this world.  If you are correct,  I have an eternity of nothing facing me.  Not the worst thing that could happen..

However if I am right--well let's just say I would rather be me than you.  I hope you folks change your mind someday.  It is never too late as long as there is life.  And I realize it means nothing to you--but I will pray sincerely that you find God.  I will answer no further post--but feel free to respond--it is your right and privalige.  I don't Block people unless they become obnoxious.

I really was pathetic at one time in my life but that was before I accepted Christ in my heart. There is no way to make anyone understand the difference in my today and my yesterday. The peace is irreplaceable and the hope is awesome. My prayers comfort me and beyond that, when they are answered I know that it wasn't luck or swinging chickens. I would not call you pathetic and I'm so thankful that I don't look at others that believe differently and think that they are pathetic. I believe you have to know a person before you can start name calling. If you knew me you would get a glimpse as to why I have such a strong belief in God. I think its no accident that you visit this board from time to time. You are always welcome but unfortunately your comments may not always be welcome by others. Whatever it is you believe in Draz, I hope that it provides you with comfort, joy, peace and happiness. I know that's what I have found even in the midst of some very trying events in my life.
