Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)

When a crisis comes, remember the promises found in God's Word. If we don't know what those promises are, then we need to begin reading them today. Underline those verses so that in any crisis, you can turn quickly to God's promises. Memorize the Word of God, especially those passages that speak comfort and hope to your heart. We should not wait for a crisis to happen. We need to have a storage bank of Bible verses lodged in our memory sot that when they do occur, the Holy Spirit can move your mind immediately to God's Word even if we don't have a Bible with us. However, if we do not read the Word, we will not know what good things God has promised.
