Saturday Hugs
Sending out hugs on this awesome Saturday morning!!!!! I am having some very special guests today. I cannot wait to see them and especially one of them. John has gone to get my son for a short visit and will be back shortly. I am cooking a big big breakfast. You all have you a great day. I love y'all!!!!!
37. Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. (Luke 6:37-38)
I have always quoted verse 38 by itself. However, recently I realized that verse 37 goes along with it. There are things we must do in order to receive blessings, sometimes. We do receive them every day, but when we judge others, condemn others, and carry unforgiveness around, we are limiting our blessings. Also, when we give, I promise you, we will see a return...maybe not in money, but in other ways such as health, spiritual blessings and many other ways. Also, by performing these negative actions, we are hurting ourselves and carrying things that we should not carry. Unforgiveness is one of the heaviest burdens you will ever carry. I have begun asking myself lately when I start to do something..."what in this will glorify God". If my answer is "nothing", I need to back away.
