Tuesday Hugs
Sending extra large hugs today. There are so many sick and in need. Please say a prayer for all of the sick and hurting. I love you all so much!!!
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
The keyword here is WAIT. How many times have we given something to God only to go back and take it away. He tells us if we wait upon Him, we will renew our strength, we will mount up with wings of eagles...and those wings are large, and we shall run and not become tired. We shall walk and not become weak. I was thinking about this one day and about giving a situation to God and then taking it away, only to make a mess. When I go to the courthouse and file a pleading or a motion, I must leave that in the judge's box and wait until He renders a decision or gives a date for something to take place. If I go to that box and take it out because the judge has not done something in MY time, there will be no answer. Nothing will happen because I have taken back the thing that requested some type of help away and he no longer has the request. I can attempt to rectify the situation, but I will probably wind up in a mess. However, if I leave it in the box and allow the judge to render a decision or solution in his time, it is done correctly. When we leave a situation with God and stay away from it, He will, in His time, render a decision and take care of the situation for us. It is often hard to do this, but is there anyone you can trust more to take care of you and your life???
