New to AL, need suggestions
Hello. My name is Michele and I just moved to Fort Mitchell, AL, a few miles away from Columbus, GA. My husband is stationed at Fort Benning.
I had my surgery done at our last duty station in Texas. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good surgeon in the area? I am only 6 months out and need to do my follow ups.

Looks like you may have been at Ft. Hood...my ex was career Army and we lived there for several years..actually in Copperas Cove.
I don't know anyone where you are living, but I am sure someone will have the info you need.

Thank you so much! Yes, we were at Fort Hood. We lived in Killeen and I hated every minute of it. LOL. People were really cruel in Killeen and there was a lot of crime.

HI Hubby and I are at Ft Rucker and I just had surgery in Anniston on the 3rd. It is a 4 hour ride for us, I think you would like Dr Freeman. It's a 21/2 hour ride for you. They are tricare friendly and wonderful loving people. They have done any and everything they can for me during this journey to get my surgery.

Thanks! I already had surgery, I just need someone to do my aftercare/follow ups with. I have a lot of issues with getting the shakes and light-headed and I get these spells where it comes on strong and I get so weak I almost pass out and I can't even hold my head up from being so weak. I lay on the floor and try to eat some carbs until it passes. My surgeon in TX never did bloodwork, though I begged, to find out what is wrong. Nothing was done. I really want a good doctor , close to me, so I can do my follow ups and get some bloodwork done.
