Saturday hugs

Sending out hugs on this awesome Saturday morning.  This is a very very special day for us.  Our grandson is receiving his Eagle Scout Award today.  This is the grandson that became sick at 18 months old and we were told he had a very rare form of leukemia and would not live past the age of 5.  He is almost 16 now and has accomplished this honor.  I praise God for His faithfulness and for the life of my grandson.  God is ever faithful and does answer prayer when we believe and do not doubt.  You all have an awesome day and please remember those who are sick.  I love y'all!!!  

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His love endures forever.  (Psalm 118:1)

When we receive a blessing from the Lord, do we thank Him???  Often, I have received a blessing and forgotten where it came from.  God loves our thanksgiving prayers and our praise.  Sometimes it is good just to go to a quiet place and sit and tell Him how awesome He has been to us and how thankful we are for His blessings.

Congrats to Grandson! that is wonderful. Too many blessings to count. Thankful for all HE has done for me. Love you Froggy

Oh my gosh, what a special day!  Not only to have survived dreaded diagnosis and treatment, but to achieve Eagle so young!  He must be quit a young man  :-)

God is good ... and that thanking Him for the good stuff in a timely manner is a challenge sometimes. Thanks for the reminder.
