Storm-Travel Prayers
Hi Bama Family,
Need travel prayers for my SON!!
With Tropical Storm IDA expected to make landfall in Mobile as early as midnight tonight, my son will be driving through the weather for his job. He drives from Mobile to Pensacola to Montgomery and then back tracks through Pensacola and then back to Mobile. He delivers parts to other branches for an equipment company.
They allowed him to leave at 4:00 instead of 5:00 today to facilitate him getting back earlier. that decision was made when they were expecting the storm to come on shore at 6:00 tomorrow morning. As he was leaving the National Weather Service updated and said IDA was moving faster and would come on shore around midnight.
PLEASE PRAY FOR HIS SAFE TRAVELS AND RETURN HOME! I pray the Lord's protection encircle him and his truck as he drives his route tonight. Please God send your angels to protect Ricky and keep him and all others who have to be on the roads tonight safe from harm.
Also, please pray for me and my peace of mind as the weatherman continues to stress that it is not safe to be on the road tonight. They are also talking about the possible closing of the Bay Way (the bridge across the Mobile Bay) due to strong winds and high waves. Please God, keep my son safe!!
Thanks in advance for Prayers. I know I can depend on you guys!! Love you!!
**edited to add this prayer: I pray for further weakening of Tropical Storm Ida. I pray all of these requests in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior! AMEN!!

Connie, your son and you are in my prayers.
Heavenly Father, I ask you to keep this young man safe in his travels. Please place angels and your hedge of protection around him. Let nothing come against him that would harm him. I also ask that you give Connie peace that passes all understanding. Let her know that her son is safe in your hand and that she can rest at ease knowing that he is safe. Lord keep all in the path of this storm safe, Lord Jesus. I ask all these things in your Holy Name...Amen.
I love ya, Connie.
