Ok I am confused. one day I can eat and the next no way... whats up with that. I am a month out and saturday I had soup, and beans and tea . it was wonderful. I felt almost human again. since most of you know I can only eat two days a week. but I had the stricture opened about 10 days ago and I am scheduled to have it done again this coming wednesday. but since I did get food and drink down just fine yesterday why cant I get it down today. not one bite and only about a cup of fluids today...yikes I am going to be in big trouble. the pain is awful. I am soooooooooooooo frustrated...besides that to have this procedure its 2300.00 not sure if my insurance is going to pay since I was self pay for the surgery. God will need to make a way to get this paid for. so I guess what I am asking is .....   can your tummy just be testy and not take food in one day and be relaxed the next and take it in?

Yes, your stomach can be testy. What you can eat one day may not agree with you the next but the good news is this will balance out in time.

Thank you ladies. its so nice to know that I am going along like normal...LOL I guess I didnt know much before the surgery... Duh.. It seems that i either was not paying attention or these kinds of topics were not discussed. I know the main focus is weight loss but I dont recall anyone saying there would be days were your not going to get anything down. My Nut said 48 - 64 oz of fluids and 60 grams of protein. well thats not happening... I guess its ok for the first month or so until I can get it down. So its all good... thanks for the help Love you guys

I was not able to get in all of my fluids and proteins the first few weeks--but it comes around.  Some quicker than others.  Remember you have had complications some of us were fortunate enough not to have.  Give your body time--this will work out for you.
