Behind the pulpit

I'm going to preach on forgivness today. Did somebody do something to hurt your feeling yesterday(last week, last month, last year, some of us can really hold a grude)if so, shake it off and forgive them. Feeling resentment about past hurts don't hurt anybody but you. So put on your big girl panties and let it go. You will be better off for it. But the major thing we have to get past is to forgive ourself. Is it hard to think of things you have said or done in the past. Well, make atonement if you can if it can't be corrected forget about the guilt and move on. If you ask someone to forgive you and they won't that places the burden on them not you. But the major thing you have to do is forgive yourself. None of us are perfect and we are going to make mistakes. Yes, every single day. All we can do is do the best we can and try to learn from our mistakes. If I had learned from each of my mistakes I would be the smartest person in the state of Alabama. So our "job" today is to forgive. Forgive others and forgive yourself. Now lets here an AMEN and know I'm praying for ya'll today. Love, Miss Mary

Preach the Word Miss Mary.  Truly inspirational.  I pray now that if I have hurt someone I will be given the knowledge of how to atone for it--and that he will grant me the Grace to forgive all that have offended me.
