Monday Coffee Talk
Good morning everyone! Time to rise and shine! It is gonna be a wonderful day, and week! Got to get up and get the day and week going. I know, I know, too early or don't want to, but just think, you are alive and you are ABLE BODIED! Too much to be thankful for!
That is our challenge today. Realize how much, JUST HOW MUCH, you have to be thankful for. No! Thanksgiving isn't here yet, and it is a month away, but EVERYDAY should be Thanksgiving. We should think and be thankful everyday for what we have. It may not be the exact things or come when we think it should, but we are some blessed people! We have roofs over our heads, comfortable beds, clothes to wear, cars to drive, food to eat, and jobs to provide for our families and ourselves. What do we and WHY do we want to grumble and complain? C'mon! Be thankful today! You have SO MUCH to be thankful for!
So, who's up this morning? What cha sippin' on? Me? I'm enjoying my Folgers and my quiet time. Good to the last drop........and minute!

Good morning my friend!!!! We are so blessed. It is as our pastor told us yesterday...the poorest people in our country are very well off when you compare them to people in many other countries. When he was in India, he said that the morning ritual was for them to get up and go into the streets to see how many children had died from malnutrition over night. We are so so blessed and these blessings are so taken for granted. Wake up people!!!!! I love ya!!!!
Anyone who is not thankful for what they have can visit the jail with me next time and see those who truly have NOTHING. I know they are there for punishment but we cannot realize how many freedoms we do have until you see someone who has none.
As my mom grows worse, I become more and more greatful for the ability to move, scratch what itches, swallow.. you know, just the simple things.
