How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are!  The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.  Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known.  But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.  (1 John 3:1-2)

God the Father has lavished his love on us.  He has just surrounded us with it.  We are His children.  Do we truly understand what that means???  You are a child of the Most High God!!!!   This is why we, as children of God are not known by the world and often persecuted.  They do not understand.  But one day, all eyes will be opened, and everyone will know.  At that time, we will be like Him.  Can you comprehend this???  I ponder upon it, but I know I don't fully comprehend the magnitude of this.  All I know is that when He appears, I want to be ready to meet Him.  His love is great!!!
