"If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels."  (Mark 8:38)

Why are so many people ashamed or uncomfortable to speak of the goodness of Christ??  I was uncomfortable for many years.  However, I realized that He was not too ashamed or uncomfortable to be totally humiliated and suffer a cruel death for me because He loves me that much.  I pray that I am never again ashamed of my Lord and Savior.  This verse speaks volumes.   How would we feel if our child was standing next to us and someone asked them, "is that your father/mother" and they said "no, I don't know that person" only because they were ashamed of us.  It would break our hearts.  In the same way, some have stood right there beside the Father and been too uncomfortable to speak up and let the world know what He has done.  I have been guilty of that, but I pray that I am never again. 

Last night, Karsyn (4 years old) was saying her prayers and said "Jesus, I love you so much. I want to give you kisses". I could just picture a big ol grin on Jesus' face. He must make him so happy to hear prayers like that.

Oh Gina...that is so precious!!!!  Children are so honest, too.  I know that Jesus was smiling from ear to ear.   You have you a great great day!!!!  Love ya!!

AMEN!!  I am NOT ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to them (all of us) that believeth in Jesus Christ!

I am so glad to know that i am a Christian Carmen!  I have gotten to the point in my life that I HAVE to preach the Word of God.  It is my calling.  It is w/o repentance.  For so many years, I didn't want to preach.  I ran because I was one who thought less of himself and didn't think he could preach or was worthy.   God has shown me that if He calls you to something, He will equip you, and supply the way.  He has also gotten me flat of my back to get my attention more than once!  LOL  NEVER AGAIN!  I'm HIS!  USE ME LORD is my cry!!  I am so full of Jesus and I tell someone everywhere I go (or try to) about God, what He and His Son did JUST FOR THEM!  God bless you today and everyday for not being ashamed and for being so faithful!!  WE love ya!

Good morning my dear friend!!!!  I know I was called to do things in the past and also was afraid to follow through because I am nobody.  But you know...that is who He uses.. a little Shepherd boy who became King; fishermen became his closest friends on earth; a young lady whom few new was His mother; a baby in a basket that grew up in Egypt led the Israelites to freedom; a man who witnesses the stoning of Stephen and prosecuted the Christians became a great evangelist...and you know...I could go on and on.  God takes the ones He can mold and do as He wants with them and makes them His tools to reach the world.  I pray that He can ever use me too.  I tell ya...I am so excited about next week I can hardly stand it.  Not only are we leaving on Thursday heading to TN, but Wednesday night, Siran Stacey is coming to Oxford and boy does he have an awesome testimony.  Next week is going to be one blessing after another.
