Thursday Hugs

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)
If we live in our pasts, that keeps us from fulfilling what God wants us to do in the present. If we are living in the past with regrets and unforgiveness, we should ask God to forgive us of whatever we did that was wrong or displeasing to Him. After that, we have to fogive ourselves for what we did and move on with our lives. It is often hard for us to forgive ourselves, but once Christ has forgiven us, we ARE forgiven. In order to be productive, we cannot dwell in the past. We must choose to focus on the present and to set Godly goals and make Godly plans for our future.
