Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.  (Psalm 37:4)

To delight means to take great pleasure in something.  If we take pleasure in serving Christ and give HIm the gratification and love that only He deserves, then we will receive the desires of our heart.  I believe too often, we do not understand exactly what those desires are.  This is not head wants, but rather heart wants.  The desires of my heart are to see my children all come to the Lord; to see our nation come back to God; to see pain removed from the hearts and lives of my friends, and to be a light for Christ each and every day.  Sure there are material things I want, but these are most important in my life.   God sees and knows the desires of our heart.  Delight in Him.

OH THANK GOD FOR HEART WANTS more than head wants!!  LOL  I'd be in a HUGE mess!  God is so good and more and more I learn to delight myself in the Lord!  Guess what?  I reap the benefits too! HEHEHE
