February Cruise

Just found out tonight that the Carnival Fascination Cruise leaving February 20 is also the Gospel Jubilee Cruise. The groups headlining are the Dixie Echoes--Chuck Wagon Gang-- Blackwood Quartet--Dove Brothers--Melody Boys-- Toney Brothers-- The Diplomats--Florida Boys and New Ground. Wouldn't it be wonderful to get to hear some of these groups. Just had to share. Love, Miss Mary

I went to Warrenton United Mothodist Church tonight to here the Dixie Echos. They were talking about the cruise and I picked up a sheet with all the information and the registration Form. After reading a little I realized it was our cruise.

Miss Mary from what I just read we would have to book thru them to be able to attend their concerts. That is a bummer.  Sounded like a lot of fun until I got to the bottom of the page..  That is a shame.

Have we ever let a little thing like that stop us from doing what we want to do? I believe I can either sneak in or stand in front of the door and listen. We might be able to wear waiter uniforms and mingle with the guest. We'll think of something. This is going to be a very interesting cruise. Love, Miss Mary

Hi Mary.  Carmen and I have already investigated this.  They say we can't go to the concerts.  I think that is a bummer.  I am hoping something changes and they have a change of heart.  Carmen even tried to negotiate about re-booking.  Maybe we can rub elbows with them!!!

Me and Debbie tried REAL hard to do whatever to get to go hear them,    I hate that they told me no.  I honestly tried hard.

Well, if we can't go in to here them we'll just stage our own concert. After all we have Debbie and Jimmy. They are as good as any of those groups. Love, Miss Mary

Yes Ma'am!!!  They sang for us last cruise and they have been asked to do so next year.  They are such blessings!!!
