Monday hugs
Sending out hugs to all on this rainy but beautiful Monday morning. YOu all be safe today and have an awesome day.
The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. (Psalm 145:9)
Each of us have been made uniquely and specifically crafted by God for His divine plan and purpose. He has given each of us talents and gifts that are important to the accomplishment of His purposes. No one area of giftedness is superior to another area when that talent is developed to the highest level possible and is used for the glory of God. I have asked God to use me in any ministry or way He sees fit. I help pour coffee once a month at church. That is a ministry that is needed in our church because we have three services and before and after each service, people sit in the Connection and drink coffee and fellowship. I thank God that He allows me to pour coffee. I know this might sound crazy to some, but if pouring coffee is my ministry then, so be it. I pray that He allows me to be the best coffee pourer I can be....not for my glory but HIS!!! Do what God has gifted you to do. Every gift and every talent is huge in His eyes. As we work, develop and apply our skills to help others, we will be a succeess in the eyes of God. That is really all that matters...that Audience of ONE!!!

((Momma)) Good Morning! I love you so much.
I was thinking of all the talents he has given me this morning. I guess because I read Joel's message this morning. I was thinking of my dreams and ambitions for my life and how we sit and wait. We weren't given these talents to sit. We were given them to use to accomplish things.
Yes even pouring coffee - you might pour it in the morning for someone at church, work , a neighbor and then you start talking and realize hey she doesn't have a friend- a church or she doesn't know Jesus.. and that leads you to somewhere else. A smile.. someone is having a bad day and you smile at them. A hello to someone you have never spoke to before - in fact - no one took the time at work to even acknowledge them but today you did! And it brightened their day and they made a friend. Yeah someone could have the most beautiful smile as their talent; someone may stop and shake hands with most people they meet. No talent is too small you have that so right!! And pouring coffee- smiling and sending out happiness letting people know GOD IS SO GOOD not just to you but them they HE loves them just where they are as they are.
I took on the responsibilty of breakfast at our Engulf Alpha group the next 3 months and I am going to be the nicest hostess - greeter- server. Everyone that comes to Alpha on Sunday mornings will want to come back :)
Teddy will be setting up and taking down equipment. The first Sunday was slow but he says as they learn to work as a team and become efficent each Sunday will be abit quicker than the Sunday before. God uses thousands of volunteers each day in such small ways.
I encourage everyone to take a talent - find your talent - use your talent- think you don't have a talent? YOU might discover it. Or you might put something together and be part of the welcoming committee at your church- a greeter - an usher. Oh, there are so many things simple people like YOU and ME can do when we have Our Glorious Father right there holding our hand!!!
Pass it on today! Smile.. and discover wow, what a great talent God has given me for HIS Glory!
