Sunday Hugs

Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)

We have to forget the errors of our pasts and continue striving toward the goal, no matter what that goal is, with the leadership of God, we will make it.

I really, really believe the KEY to pressing on towards the goal is FORGETTING what is behind. We spend SO much of our energy on "re-hashing" what we did in the past we don't have energy to STRAIN toward what lies ahead of us - the goal!  We don't let it go, and we use all of our strength to hold onto it.
I pray each of us will LET IT GO... FORGET what is behind you and STRAIN toward what is AHEAD - THE GOAL!!!  AMEN!!!!!

Good morning my friend.  Hope you have a blessed Lord's Day today.  We will be in Thomasville Alabama today.  We will sing and Jimmy will preach.  Today is homecoming at our home church also.  We can't be there and I sure will miss it because a previous pastor is going to be there.  He was our all time favorite pastor.  But we have a job to do.

Well...I don't know where Thomasville is, but I do know that those people are so blessed.  I cannot wait until you all get back into our neck of the woods.  You be so blessed today and we love ya!!!
