There were maybe thousands of trained Israelite soldiers who were much more qualified to do battle with Goliath than David. However, their response to Goliath was fear and stress. David did not seem to be upset or scared at all. Why was this??? He knew that it was God's battle -- not his. Apart from God, he knew he did not have a chance with Goliath. But with the help of the Lord, he was very confident that everything would turn out all right. What are the giants in your life?? If they are too big for you to handle, I know someone who can slay them. Just reach out and ask Him. Believe me...without Him...I could do absolutely nothing.
