Retirement

Well, I got my paperwork to fill out for my retirement from the school bus. I realize one thing for sure.I am going to need the address of all bread lines and soup  kitchens in this area. My official retirement date is January 1. I figure I'm okay until January 6 or 7 at least. Talk about a leap of faith. I am so looking forward to retiring from this job. Of course I've still got three other jobs but I am cutting back on them. I even turned down a job this week. It's hard for me to say no but I'm learning.
I'm trying to have a gratitude attitude. I thank all my OH friends for putting up with my silliness. Take care. Love, Miss Mary

Yeah, I getcha.  I took money out of my retirement fund for my move:  figured it would be better than losing money with the money market performances of late.  But then yesterday I heard on the news that for the next couple of months at least, social security has reached the point where it will take in less than it pays out.  I'm sure a lot of that has to do with unemployment, but gah, it made me shudder.

You are resilient and resourceful and God is good.  Seems to me you will be fine.

You NEED to retire!  All these jobs make me tired reading them!  Aunt Mary, they are going to lose the BEST driver they have ever had!  I'm glad to see you slowing down some.  Lucy and I look forward to seeing you one day this week.  We love you.

Mary, you know our address but if it's soup you want I recommend Randy.  He makes a great soup.  lol  You will do fine in retirement.  Soon you will wonder how you ever found time to go to work.

I'm really and truly not worried at all. I like to tease about it but I have never gone without a meal and I don't expect to in my old age either. I have got so many things planned I'll have to live to be 112 to accomplish even half of them. Take care. Love, Mary
