 Elle....I am almost 4 yrs out and have been every eyar for my check-up. However, my surgeon has closed her office and moved to Cincinatti, OH. So....I really hate to start up with a new surgeon..not sure what I will do this year. I DO think this is important!!

You may hate to, but you better and in my opinion. Dr. Mailapur is your best bet since he worked with Dr. Murrell.

Hey there my beautiful friend.  How are you???  That's the way to do it.  Get her to a dr. soon for that check up.  Ain't it just awful when a doctor moves or retires?  

I don't miss any of my checkups.  You're right, it's VERY important.  I would bet those who don't go are the same ones that aren't very compliant in other parts of their post-wls lives either.  But that's just a guess.

I think you hit the nail on the heat there Kay.  You are absolutely right.....They are the ones that aren't compliant with the other parts of their post op lives and are the ones that seem to gain their weight back or don't lose much at all.  I NEED MY DOCTOR AND MY SUPPORTIVE FRIENDS.

I will be 3 years post op in Feb.  I have not missed one and will  never.  Dr. Sherer saved me.  Im always calling before my appt card comes in the mail.  Dont forget take those vitamins!!
