Thursday Coffee Talk
Good Thursday morning everyone from the hospital room of my sweet L'il Lucy! She snoozing due to meds they just gave her. I am so glad this will all be over...the nausea and pain....today! Her surgery is at 9:10 a.m. I can't wait to get her home, pamper her, and take care of her till she's better.
Our challenge today is to not be so serious in life. Live life a little light hearted. Sure there are times when we have to be stern, hard faced, and even a little hard on people, but my goodness, NOT EVERYDAY! Lighten up! Live life and enjoy it. Don't take everything so serious and so hateful. I'm telling myself this as I type this. From experience as a boss and from being in authoritative positions, we have to sometime exert our selves, but people love us a lot more when we share a smile and share kind words. This challenge goes hand in hand with yesterday's challenge, but I want to just spread a little kindness. It sure does make for better days and a better world to live in. Lord knows, this world needs it right now!
So, who's up this morning? What cha sippin on? I'm enjoying some awesome.....well, was enjoying...hospital coffee. I won't drink it in the room with Lucy as she is nauseated PLUS has been NPO (can't eat or drink) since Tuesday. I just couldn't eat or drink in front of her or in the room with the smell knowing she loves coffee as much as I do. LOL
Y'all have a wonderful Thursday. I know I will cuz my baby is getting this gallbladder out that has made her so sick this week!! BE BLESSED!!

For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"
Good morning Randall. I'm drinking some good old instant coffee that hits the spot. Love to share a cup with you and Lucy some day.
I can see that you are taking very good care of Lucy. She is a fortunuate young woman. Both of you are in my prayers for a safe and uneventful surgery this morning. Lucy will start feeling better soon and with you to take care of her at home, that will speed her recovery. God bless both of you!
Hugs,
Lucy
