Cats and my secret pal.

My wonderful secret pal sent me a book and warned me to begin with to keep it away from Amos and Teddy. But alas I did not listen. She sent me a book called THE DEVIOUS BOOK FOR CATS. It was written by two cats named Fluffy and Bonkers. I think she wanted to warn me and prevent problems. I have been gone from home a few days and came home this morning. I had already read the book by then. I did not want it to fall into the wrong paws, so I put it into a suitcase and locked the suitcase in the closet. I placed the key on a ribbon and put it around my neck. I took a nap and when I woke up the key was on the floor and the ribbon was in tatters. The closet door was open and the suitcase was wide open with the book turned to page 178. Oh my goodness what monsters have been unleashed. This book actually tells kitties how to get into mischief(like mine even needed any help)
I will be spending the rest of the night trying to undo the damage to my closet and suitcase. I do appreciate the book I just wished I had understood the dangers and I would have been more careful to keep it away from Amos and Teddy.
This is the cutest book I've read in quite a while. Thanks for the good laugh. Love, Miss Mary

My Dearest Miss Mary,

My goodness. It seems that my little gift may have caused your kitties to misbehave.

My dear, I must apologize if my warning was not forceful enough to make you realize just how dangerous that little book could be if Amos and Teddy were to get their paws on it.  I should have used more punctuation in my message to you!!  I am so very relieved that the ribbon on which you put the key to the closet was the only thing you found in tatters when you awoke.  Now my dear Mary, I do not remember the particulars of page 178 and I am not sure that I want to know, but I will take your word for the monsters which were unleashed to wreak havoc in your home.  I pray you were able to contain them and find a suitable place to but that dangerous little book so that Amos and Teddy may not get to it again, but will allow you access when you need it.

I am so glad that you enjoyed the book Miss Mary.  When I saw it, I knew it was perfect for you.  I think I've got something good in mind for you in October to.  I am glad I could give you a good laugh because I have gotten many a good laugh from you.  Love U,
UR Secret Pal,
ME

I guess your precious little kitties felt left out that I had sent something to you and didn't send them something!  I'm sure athey saw Fluffy and Bonkers on the book and thought it was for them.  I will make sure to send them some treats.  What do they prefer?  I know they have to have a preference.  There aren't a lot of kitty cats who will just eat whatever you give them.  If not an edible treat, then do they have a preference of a toy they would like?  Please extend y apologies to Amos and Teddy for forgetting them.
