Tuesday Coffee Talk
Good Tuesday morning everyone! Time to rise and shine. Gotta cook those grits and spray those pits! LOL Just for you Dayner! It is going to be a wonderful Tuesday!
Our challenge for today is to go out of your way to do something nice for a stranger. OH NO! not me! Yes! YOU! Strangers love it when someone goes out of their way to hold a door, say a nice word, let them in front of you in the grocery line, just to do something nice and kind for them. You never know when you may make a new friend. I dare you to do this today and watch how good you feel. You'll be amazed!
So, who's up this morning? What cha sippin' on? I am enjoying my Boca Java Chocolate Hazelnut and it sure is good! This coffee blends the best of two worlds to me. Chocolate and Hazelnut. Two of my favorite coffees. If you have never been to Bocajava.com, you'll be surprised at how cheap the coffee is. My Caribou Coffee mug from our Minnesota friends makes it even better! I think of all of you every time I sip my coffee from it.

Good morning Randall, my dear friend.
Today someone did something nice for me! I am walking with a cane because of a bad knee and was walking to the post office box by work. She offered to mail my envelopes so I wouldn't have to walk so far and back. I thanked her! I guess now it's my turn.
How's grandma doing after hip surgery? I'll keep her in my prayers. I've kept in touch with you and your family even though I don't post as much.

Pre-op/RNY day/pre DS day/current/goal- Realize Band 5/15/08; RNY 6/8/05, Removal Band and RNY to DS 8/25/10. RNY & Band surgeon was Dr. Guske.
LUCY!!!! I love ya my friend and sure do miss ya! SO god to hear from you. Lucy's mom is doing great. Thanks for asking. We stayed with her until about 9:30 last night and her color looked much better and she was moving her feet and laughing. The bone in her hip was "DEAD"! It is so awesome that she got in when she did. They will have her up and walking today.
You take care of you! I had no clue you were having knee surgery. Also, I am glad that someone did something kind for you today. YOU deserve it!

Hi Randall. Ah, it's Lucy's Mom - I wasn't sure. It amazes me how well people do right after surgery. Happy to hear that Lucy's Mom is doing well.
I haven't had surgery yet. My doc is trying the synthetic synovial fluid injections first. If they don't work,then I am looking at a total knee replacement! I've had one shot last week and am going to the doc tomorrow for shot #2; then next Wednesday, the 30th - shot #3. The pain has been the worst pain I had in my life. Can't sleep well and always in agony. Since the 1st shot - it's a tiny bit better. I've been in pain for 8 weeks now. This just happened before my stepdad passed away.
I am blessed to have you in my life.
