Hugs for Tuesday
Sending out huge hugs on this awesome Tuesday morning. You all have a great day today. I love y'all!!! How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. (1 John 3:1-3)
This rain we have been having is not even comparable to the downpour of love we have from God. He does lavish us with His love. We are His children and He loves us so. That is why the world has no clue who we are. They did not understand, accept or recognize Him for who He was and they will not accept us. They just don't understand. This joy we have is so unspeakable and we have no clue as to what is to be. However, when He appears, things will change. This is where hope lies.
Good morning my friend! I have to say OH WOW at your devotion this morning. Our Pastor brought this out Sunday night in his sermon. We can get flooded by things of the world but noothing compares to the soft gentle rain that the Father shows with his love. When I think about the love that God has for us Carmen, it is overwhelming. How many of us would forgive and accept a person who has done evil or bad things toward us? How many would be so easy to forgive? Kind of hard to say "yes", but God always says I FORGIVE and it is becuase of His infinite love for us. MY MY! THE LOVE OF THE FATHER! Thank you for this today and I LOVE YOU MY FRIEND. I didn't mean to over run your post or add to it, but I just get overwhelmed when I think of HIS LOVE!!
