Her World Is Turned Upside Down

Jessie let our cat outside on Friday...thinking she was doing something "good"...and we didn't know about it until it was too late.  She has done this one other time, but we caught Salem in time.  Now, it's 2 days later, and Salem is missing.

Jessie is overwhelmed with grief.
She has been crying and crying this afternoon.  She is drawing pictures of Salem this afternoon.  She's been praying and asking God to bring her kitty cat back home.

I know this seems frivolous to many of you all but at any rate,  will you all please pray for Salem's safe return home?

Jackie...I am praying right now.  No, this is not frivolous.  It is very important to Jessie and what is important to us is important to our Father God.  I am asking Him right now to lift that kitty up and bring her home safely.  I am believing that this is done.  I am praying that Jessie is comforted and that the pain in her heart is eased.  She is so precious and it breaks my heart to think that she is crying and so upset.  Please give her a hug and kiss for me.  I love y'all!!!

I would be beside myself with worry if either of my cats got outside!  Definitely saying prayers that your kitty safely finds its way back home.

I am praying. Tell Jessie to help you make flyers and post them around the neighborhood. This not only gets the word out but let's Jessie participate and feel like she is helping bring her safely home.
Also put a free ad in the paper. Call the PNJ and the local radio stations. Some will air the lost cat in the morning shows. Just an idea. I hope this helps.
I am praying for Salem and for Jessie. Maybe if they have friends in the neighborhood would help them go door to door and canvas as well.
We have had to do this. Also, call the vets closest to the home and the local animal shelter on Monday. Some are dropped off over the weekend. Let us know how the search pans out.
And if you need help finding and information or getting it let me know. I will assist as much as I can. I use to work/live there so I am familiar with most the area.

The flyers are our next step.

Prayers are being sent. Our kitty was gone 10 days back in the spring. he got outside as our son was leaving. After 10 days, we thought he was gone for good. he returned home, a few pounds thinner but fine other than that. Hopefully Salem will do the same.
