Wednesday Hugs!!
Sending out huge hugs on this awesome Wednesday!!!! It IS an awesome day today because, if nothing else, we are alive, have a place to live and food to eat. Most importantly, I have the love of my Father God and He is always there for us. We are so so blessed!!! Have you an awesome day today. I love y'all!!!
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
WOW!!!! This speaks volumes to me today. We SHOULD have the attitude of Christ. However, I often fail at that. We should have a humble spirit and love. If you see someone you just cannot hardly stand to be around, love them. Take on the nature of a "servant". I promise, your attitude will change and God will give you more and more love as you use it. It is often hard to walk up to someone who has hurt you and put your arms around them and love them, but you know what, sometimes that is exactly what they need, and I promise...it is exactly what you and I need. When we give love, we receive love. This is the heart of a servant. Jesus Christ humbled Himself and called Himself a servant. He was totally obedient to His Heavenly Father. He never bragged about His clothes, His home, how many He had healed, or anything...He taught, loved, gave and corrected with love. I pray that I become more and more like Him each day.
