Sheep Thief

If I shared this before just skip over it.  Maybe somebody new needs to hear this today.

Back in the early 1900's a farmer had two sons.  They were very poor and never had enough to eat.  One day the brothers decided to go out and steal some sheep so that their family would have food.  Well, they got caught.  This was a very serious crime but since the boys were so young (14 or so), the judge sentenced them to be branded with a large ST on their foreheads.  SHEEP THIEF!!  The boys were humiliated but thankful that they weren't hanged.  One of the boys became very rebellious and turned to a life of crime.  Many years later he was hung for robbing a bank.  The other brother determined that he would learn from his mistake and so he turned his life around and became a better person.  He helped people every way he could and became a very prosperous man.  When he was in his 30's a stranger moved into the area and couldn't help but notice the ST branded on this fine young man.  He asked some of the townspeople what it stood for.  Many said they couldn't remember but one old timer spoke up and said, I believe it stands for SAINT!!

He chose to become BETTER insetad of bitter.   What has your past made you?

Blessings,
DebbieDoo
