Hi Pals

We just made it home!!  It was a wonderful weekend.  I was so glad to see so many friends.  Ellen Johnson.....where were you????  I just knew I would get to see you and Maxie.  Olivia's shower was fun.  Glenn and Brenda's house is lovely.  Brenda, Allison and Jackie had everything looking so beautiful.  I wish everyone could see the gift Miss Mary and Miss Chestang made for Evalyn.  They did "Evalyn's Closet"  It was packed full of clothes.  They were all sizes from new born to 12 months.  They even had a dress in there with ladybugs!!  Then they had an azalea bush decorated with baby items.  It was so awesome.  Olivia got two diaper bags and all the experienced mothers told her she would need them both.  I can't list all the gifts but she had one good shower.  I am going to kick back and rest a little bit before bed.

I would have loved to see yall.but plans got changed. I would have met you for Dinner last night or breakfast this morning. I am glad she got a lot of nice things.Sat evening I cut grass,this morning went to Church.
Will you tell Scott that the Sloans are coming to Cleveland Church of God The end of Sept. and the first of Oct. for me? Like for all to come up if you can. They are good Love you Froggy. EJ


Wish you had called me!

I did not realize we were going to be that close to you.  I did not have your number and I just knew for sure you would be there.  We can always count on you!!!  My computer would not work at the hotel so I did not get on line at all.   I need to program your number in my cell phone.  Everytime I want to call you I have to look for my address list.

Will tell Scott.  The are in TX this week.

hey my friends. So glad that Olivia had such a wonderful shower. Wish I could have been there to see all my wonderful family! I love you!

We did have a great time! 
Evalyn's Closet is FULLLLL of clothing!  And to be honest, Olivia got 3 diaper bags!  One that Jimmy made for her, one from Randall & Lucy and one from Carolyn~!    You can never have too many diaper bags either! 
Olivia got burp cloths with Evalyn's name on them, bibs with Evalyn's name on them, diapers, wipes, clothing, bottles, a swing that turns into a rocker, a hamper, fuzzy blanket with Pooh, PJ's, a picture frame, a Boppy, a sunvisor shade, a nursing cover up that's beautifully embroidered, a parenting book, shoes, a bear with the maternal sounds, baby wash/lotions, a wreath,  and more...if I forgot anything, please forgive me for I am going by memory!  
The most beautiful gift of all was the azalea bush filled with goodies!  I am planning on taking a pic of it to post for all to see it.

Hi Jackie.  I could not even begin to remember everything she got!!  It was a really good shower.  I am so glad we could come.
I have something else I want to do for her if I can find it.  I will let you know if it pans out.

BTW....I have your little bag.  We forgot to get it out of the car.  I will mail it to you in the next few days.

Hello friend!!  I remembered the bag after we got back to the hotel.  I thought we were going the other way on the street so that is why I gave it to you to put in the car since you were going to put your things in.

I wish I could have been there. I'm so happy that the shower was such a success. I had the grandkids and everyone was sick except me. Poor little Peyton had 102 temp. and was aching all over. The doctor gave her some antibiotic and said it was not the N1H1. Thank goodness for that.

Got to go and get busy here at work.
