Wow What A Whirlwind...and a testimony.

We've been SOOOO busy with getting packed, seeing to home inspections of both houses, termite letters, setting up the movers and carpet cleaners etc etc etc.....
Everything has happened extremely fast, actually ahead of schedule which is why we feel such a time crunch. We have a closing date of 9/28. We'll do back to back closings on the house we are selling and the one we are buying. It is amazing how things have gone so smoothly! God really takes care of His children! 
I have to give a quick testimony too. Our house has been on the market almost a year and we were getting a little discouraged because we felt that we'd heard from God about selling and buying. Not even 6 weeks ago we were talking about it and I told Rich that I believed that our house has not sold yet because that perfect house God is saving for us is not on the market yet. I didn't think any more of the conversation but today at the inspection we discovered that the house we are buying was only on the market for 2 weeks when we put a contract on it. Coincidence you say?? I THINK NOT! We looked at several houses, actually many over the last year and when we walked into this one we both felt like we were home. It was a little weird but in a good way. God is good and yes he does give us the desires of our heart! He is always faithful. I remember that a former pastor of mine used to always say 'God doesn't always pay on Friday's but He always pays on time!"

Congrats Anniversary Buddy!!!!!

Thanks Karen, just a few more short weeks and we'll be married for 2 years huh? Don't know about you but it's been a WONDERFUL 2 years for me. 

NO people, we are NOT married to each other LOL we both got remarried on the same day two years ago. 

I saw your post on FB about planning something creative. We had planned a trip to Myrtle Beach however with us  buying a new house I'm going to take off to move at the end of this month instead of the end of next month. Myrtle Beach will have to wait. We will more than likely do a long weekend trip to St Pete instead.

Let me know wha ya'll end up doing!

The term "termite letters" is going to stay with me for awhile.  Maybe because its Friday but it conjures up some silly images.

And your testimony is powerful!  God does things His way and later, even though we cried or griped at the time, we rejoice cause He had it so right!

That is so true Janice!! If we let Him do it His way it always turns out better then when we try to take control.

LOL on the termite letter. Makes you think of an army of termites sitting around writing letters huh :)
