I made black bean chili that turned out fabulous ( I just replaced the chili beans with black beans=more protein and lots of flavor) YUM! Made Kyle some homemade sourdough toast with pepper jack cheese and also made sugar free pistachio parfaits for dessert.  YUMMMMMMY~!  It was ALL delicious.  Tomorrow I'm starting on carrot sticks and grapes and fresh fruit and rice cakes and try to get these last 7 pounds I've gained back off.

So, what are ya'll having for DINNER tonight???

I put a beef roast in my bean pot this afternoon.  I have made some mashed potatoes and fixed Bobby some beans and biscuits. I will only do the roast and few bites of mashed potatoes.

Football season makes me want chili!!

I had cracker barrel eggs and grits and bacon. Met a firend that that I have not seen in YEARS. We had a blast catching up and I found out she'll be moving back here in the near future. WOOOHOOO!

I cooked beef tips & rice in one crock pot and peas in another. When I got home, I cooked some cabbage, oven fried okra and cornbread. Peas, beef tips and cabbage were YUM!! I have been wanting some taco soup but I am the only person at my house that will eat it this time of year. It makes wat too much to cook for 1 person so I will probably make another small pot of chili saturday afternoon. Going to be a busy, busy weekend! Heart to Heart Hospice is having a fundraiser booth (for our patient care fund, to help purchase Christmas presents for our patients) at the Bear Creek Festival on Saturday. I will be there the entire time, since I am the volunteer coordinator. I'm not complaining at all! It is for a wonderful cause! Then a 12 hour shift on Sunday at the ALF where I work part time. Monday kicks off ALF Week. Activities scheduled every day (2 per day most days) at the facilities where we see pt's. It's going to be such a fun week!!!! We are having a Luaua, A Country Carnival, Penny Auctions, The Price is Right & more! Plus lots of treats for the residents!! I love my job (if you can call what I do work). I get paid to have fun with some very precious people!!! Sorry so long, I seldom have time to get on here so I think I try to tell everything at once...lol! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks Elle! :) I had too many chips with cheese dip at the mexican restuarant and a few bites of a taco minus the shell.

I know you can get the 7lbs off. do protein protein protein. If you do the fresh fruit, i dont think your body will get in enough protein babe. It may not matter since your so far post op, i just know i have to up my protein and cut out most carbs/ sweets to lose weight.
