Hair Loss has started!
This weekend I had to finally admit that I am losing more than the "normal" amount of hair when I wash my hair and when I brush or comb it. I am now leaving a "hair carpet" in the bathroom!
I know there isn't much I can do (my hairdresser recommends Nioxin). How long does it last?
WILL I GO BALD????!!!

you wont go bald. Atleast, i dont think so. I recomment Nioxin too. It does help. It doesnt cure it though. I would start taking a Biotin, or a prenatal. If you color it... try not to while its falling out. I highlighted mine a good bit and it started breaking off reallllllll bad. So this is my advice based on my experience.
Good luck, this too shall pass!

Yes, you're about four months out...that is abut right - 3 to 4 months. Mine was already thin and it got sooooo thin on top that it scared me.
I started taking biotin that I got from Bariatric Advantage and B50 twice a day...also from Bariatric Advantage. That did help, but what really helped was when I was eating massive amounts of protein.
I was eating at least six protein bars per day...Pure Protein Deluxe Chocolate and Pure Protein Chocolate Chip mostly. They have 20 grams of protein each which meant I was getting 120 grams minimum protein daily.
The only problem was they became my trigger food. I ate them like candy bars and I actually gained weight on them and my cholesterol level went up also. They have 10 mgs each. Now that's me. i have to watch Cholesterol because of family history so it may not bother you. When I quit eating them my ahir starting thinning, but not as thin as it was before . The biotin and vitamin B does help, but I'm trying to find a way to get more protein without the protein bars.
Good luck!!
