Labor Day Hugs
Sending out hugs on this awesome Labor Day!!!! You all be safe and have a great day. I love y'all!!! About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose. (Acts 16:25-26)
Paul and Silas had been placed in prison after being beaten and flogged horribly. However, even in the middle of this horrible situation, they praised God and prayed. It is very easy to praise God when things are going good and pray, but do we pray when we don't need God?? Do we praise Him in the middle of the most horrible tribulations in our lives??? Let me tell you from experience, He works through those praises and prayers in the storms. He can cause an earthquake that will set us free from any situation we are in. Next time you have a situation, start praising Him and get on those knees and watch Him work. He inhabits our praise.
