5 year Anniversary today!!!!
I can't believe it has been 5 years today!!!! I stay around my goal weigh, but it seems like it gets harder all the time. I would love any advice from old timers, tips any info on how to get that full feeling back. Is it gone for good??? I just feel like it is so much easier to slip up and do the wrong things now. I would love to lose around 10 lbs but can't seem to lose now.. Help!!!
Congrats of 5 years. I certainly can't give advice, because I am a newbie--but it is nice to see someone maintain for five years and still be working at it.

Congratulations on 5 Years of SUCCESS!!!
I have to follow the rules of no beverages while I am eating, even this far out to keep the weight off. I also try to avoid snacking (but that is me) b/c it seems as if that is how extra calories sneak back in during the day.
DRINK WATER BETWEEN MEALS - WE TEND TO FORGET THIS or WE TEND TO BACK AWAY FROM THIS! I don't get alot of extra time for exercise...so, if you can, make yourself MOVE at work! Don't use the phone (if you can help it), go FIND the person you need to talk to instead of calling them/paging them. Park far away from the building, so you have to walk to get to the building...this goes for work, shopping, movies, etc. (Use common sense though - don't do this when you are alone and in the evenings/at night. Take someone else with you.)
Continue to eat your high protein food items first...then eat your other side items next at meals...just basically follow the basics as you did when you were a new post-op.
The last 10# are the very hardest to lose, but it CAN be done and we ALL stand behind you Lisa knowing YOU CAN DO IT!
You've done an outstanding job with your weight loss and are a wonderful example to so many of us! Keep us updated with your progress, okay?
