Good Morning Alabama....OT
Now just as with WLS I am fairly a newbie when it comes to being a Christian. Yep--I'm pretty sure that everyone on this board who is a Christian has more seniority than I do. I am one of those the Bible says is still a milk drinker rather than a meat eater.
OH and Facebook, however gives me a chance to witness some--especially the R&R board.
I know it must be feeble attempts, but I am so far behind in my Christian journey.
I don't know what it is but, I feel a call on my life from God. What he can use me for I don't know--but he can do much with little (remember the loaves and fish). I can certainly tell folks the consequences of living on the other side. So I hope nobody gets too offended with my scripture references or homespun philosophy at times. it is just what I feel needs saying.
I've got the coffee going this morning Randall. Same for me Starbucks Mocha Protein Powder latte.
It's sooo good. Y'all come over for a cup!
I love you all--for putting up with me--just an upstart newbie.

You are perky and on it this morning. Perhaps I should've hopped on the computer when I woke up at 2! (Instead I petted the kitties til I fell asleep).
Just yesterday I was talking with someone about speed and dexterity in our faith journeys. I will tell you the same thing I told my friend.
Loving and living in relationship with God is a lot more like a long distance run than a sprint. In a sprint, we race against others and have to be quick and agile to win. In long distance running, the race is often about the experience of where you are running and how it feels as often as it is about finishing and the only competitor you really have over the long haul is your own progress.
Just keep stepping well ... there is no room for judgment or critiquing of those who seek to love God the best they can. That's ALL good!
Take care,
Janice

Last night we took cards out and wrote down the name of one person we wanted to show the hope of Jesus too. I thought and thought.. How can I just put down one name I thought? When I know so many?? I reserved to list them all. I mean how can you reach the unsaved when you don't know them? You have to have people in your life who are not Christians. So you go get them!! Reach out to them!! I know I am too! Not the R&R board but people right here in my life that God just plopped right down in front of me.
And I am so glad to have you here and for you just jumping in knee deep and reaching out to all of us!! Keep it up!
I am praying for you!
