Be angry and do not sin.  (Ephesians 4:16)

This verse has spoken to me so many times, but I never really paid attention to it until just a few years ago.  There is a way to express anger "without sinning".  We can channel our anger into a constructive change.  We should put the focus on what we can and should do rather than on what we want the other person to do.  (Oh my, I have had so much trouble with that one.)  We can address our concerns and problems before they get to the boiling point.  We can tell the other person that we are upset, concerned, disappointed, or in pain without raising our voice, bringing up the past, or ripping that person apart.  We can always choose to give voice to our emotions without striking out at a person or their characteristics.  There are very few things in life that we have total control over.  How we treat others is one of those few.

Great post Carmen G. We are so quick to disregard our weaknesses.  I love me some scripture in the morning or other times during the day that help us recognize our weakness and tells us what we need to do to strengthen ourselves both in mind, body, and spirit.

Hi Carmen,
Hope your day went to your liking:) I have been getting things ready to go up to my Sisters near Detroit this weekend for a yard sale with her/Man am i tired watching poor John tote everything out.I can not lift anything over 5 lbs so hes putting it in and Sis and BIL are taking it out and my niece is setting it up for me.
I am so disappointed about the G-ville thing but am praying for our sweet Randall and Lucy and thier folks.
John cancelled our reservations at the Holiday Inn and got up a new trip lined up.Where he is sending us is a surprise to me right now.I know we are going to my SIsters in Tenessee to take her to lunch for her birthday but then i have no idea where he is sending Sis and I.Can't wait for him to hand me the maps and the reservations and stuff.This is my anniversary present.We have been together 8 yrs yesterday.
Ok off to cook dinner. Hopefully i will get to make it to another get together so i can see you again.Love ya Val

Hey there Val.  Yep...every day is an awesome day for me.  We will have another get together another time when things are better.  Randall has a platter right now that is covered LOL.  I hope you all have a great trip.  Love ya.
