Walk from Obesity and Colleen Cook Reception

Just an update to remind you all of the Walk from Obesity.  The walk will be September 26 at Regions Park in Hoover Ala.  Registration will start at 7AM with the walk slated to start at 8AM.  Walk fee is $25 and come with a free T shirt and tons of free samples and goodies.  Go to www.walkfromobesity to sign up.

I'm certain this event has likely been mentioned before.  One of the things I can't figure out from the sites (national and local) is if the event is a 24 hour event like Relay for Life, a walk around the park ... what.  Could I have that kind of basic information?  Help, please.

Good Morning Janice.  Yes this event has been mentioned before and will be posted a lot more before the event,  We want to get the word out about obesity and the effects that it has on  people.  It will not be a 24 hour relay but will be a morning event. This will be the third one that I will have participated in, they are awesome.  For this year we are planning on adding some other fun stuff.  Wish you would decide to join us  and meet the Ala board gang.
