And when people "lay" it on you...and they "think" they get the best of you. Just act calm, gracious and thankful...remembering that the situation could be alot worse than it actually is. Work diligently, go with the flow, CONQUER their request, and do MORE than what was asked of you ... showing that you are not afraid of a good challenge!
Can you tell what I've been up? hee hee hee!
Volfan .. hahaha...
Miss Mary, I am sleepy this morning, so this may be the mission that perks me up. Thanks for laying it down there!
One thing to smile at in my world from last night. There is a program in the church here that I want to participate in, so I got the directions to an information meeting for last night. Went there and there was nobody there. Weird, so I was walking around the church campus and this man walked up to me and asked if I was Janice. He was the person who had told me about the meeting, realized he had given me the wrong day and that I had to drive 20 miles to get to it, so he drove 30 miles to tell me where another meeting would be later this week and to apologize. A phone call would have sufficed, but he wanted to make sure I was okay and could see how sorry he was.
I keep having these "it's so nice to be in the South" moments. :-)
