Monday morning Hugs
Sending out huge hugs on this awesome Monday morning!!!!! You all have a great day. I love ya!!!
Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn't get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan's angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn't think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me, My grace is enough; it's all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10) (Message)
Sometimes, to keep us humble, we will have a "thorn in the flesh". I love what Paul says here. While the enemy would do his best to bring him down, he indeed did...to his knees. I know that when troubles come, we have an option, we can take the road that leads to more trouble, or we can look to God for help and guidance to get through. God tells us as He did Paul...His strength comes into its own in our weakness. Some people have told me that troubles make us strong. I disagree. What actually makes us strong is the trust we place in Christ in our times of trouble. He makes us strong. He imparts strength to us and as we receive His strength, we are made strong.

Good morning Sugar!! She is not doing so well this morning. She is hurting pretty badly. However, she had to go to her work for some class today. John took her and is staying with her. I had to come to work today, but will leave if need be. It is just gonna take her a while to get over this. I love you!!
