Christian and I got up early this morning and went and visited his Papa at the store.  He was so surprised to see us up and at 'em so early.  We had fun though.  Then we headed out to the country to Mr. Chip and Ms. Lisa's and boy did we have fun there.  He got to see tractor's, 4 wheelers and all kinds of farm equipment.  He loved the rake and swing.  We also visited the neighbors new pool and went to see some chickens and were able to gather 2 small eggs.  He was so excited about that.  So was I.  It's been years since I've gathered eggs on my Grandmother's farm when I was a very small child.  Christian DID NOT want to leave.  He was wore out by that time and fell fast asleep before we got out of the driveway.  We are just about to get ready to go to a cook out as soon as he wakes up from his nap.  So far, it's been a very interesting day???  What are you doing today???

Well for me cleaning my bedroom and some laundry and ironing.  While I am doing the cleaning I am taking frequent breaks as my foot is giving me some pain today.  This afternoon I am going to get a pedicure and manicure.  Tonight I am packing, we are leaving in the morning for Columbia, South Carolina for a funeral. Hope to be back Tuesday and then we are leaving again on Friday for Branson, be gone this time for over a week.   Got a lot to do today. Better get off here or I will never get it finished.

You sure do travel alot.  Wish I could go like you do.  Shoot, I have to work all the time and Lord knows, I'd never get Kyle to take off for an entire week.  I'm just glad we got our 5 days in the Smokies this summer. First vacation we've had in a few years.

As for me I have some house guest--my niece (favorite) and her new husband.  We went walking this morning (1.5 miles) then to Cracker Barrel for some breakfast.  Looks like shopping and movies for the afternoon.

It's amazing, but being around young people can make you feel younger.

Sounds like Christian has had a fun filled day. You both worn out!!
I worked this morning. Then Sandi & Bert came over with their granddaughter Annabelle.
I enjoyed unwinding at the lazy river with my friends and Jacob and Teddy.
Saturdays are so awful at work. So it's good to get some downtime!
We had taco salad for dinner and are preparing for a very busy Sunday!!
Church in the a.m. 2 different services we are attending. GSUMC and Engulf Church. Then the boys have a Youth Fundraiser concert tommorrow night and we will be attending OBUMC Beach services on the beach at sunset!!
I am so tired though. I am going to get in the hot tub with some calgon and relax the rest of the evening!!

Yeah I sure do have a full plate tommorrow. I am excited though. I love my church family. And we have committed ourselves to helping plant a new church in the area called Engulf.
Please pray for Engulf and Divine Appointments; as God brings people into the path of Pastor Patrick as he plants a new church here.
Thanks!!! Enjoy your Sunday as well!

John and Biscuit are madly cleaning house!  We are doing a production of GODSPELL at my church this weekend and I am having the cast over after the Sunday afternoon show for a cookout.  My Mother always said it was good to invite folks over from time to time - it forced you to clean your house!!!

We worked in the house all day and then went to the church for the 7PM show tonight.  It went great!  We made nearly $300 for Campus Ministry!  We expect the big crowd tomorrow!  Monday we are not doing ANYTHING!!!!!
