Walk from Obesity!!!!!!!

Have you signed up for the Walk from Obesity?  Lets  get up off our hineys and get signed up.  I have got to do that today also.  The walk this year will be September 26 at Regions Park in Hoover Ala.  The walk starts at 8am with registration starting at 7am.  Along with the registration fee of $25 you will get a T shirt and tons of goodies.  Colleen Cook has agreed to join us again this year for the walk and will have her books for sale.  The proceeds from her book goes to our walk. Last year we were #3 in the nation in fundraising.  Let make it #1 this year.  So who all is going to be at the walk?  You can go to www.walkfromobesity.com

I was trying to get my support group up for the trip. I just don't know that we can.
I work on Saturdays and have requested the 12th off for a wedding (Our Youth Minister is getting married- can't miss that!)
Also we want to go as a group to Atlanta in November and 2 of my members are doing a cruise together in the fall.. so much going on I don't think we can make Walk From Obesity in Birmingham but will do our walk here again this year!

Wish you all could make the walk in Birmingham.   For the conference in November we are planning to do dinner together Saturday afternoon.  We will be free from about 5:30 until 8.  We have found a place that is a couple of miles from the hotel that looks good.  We will need a head count so that we can call and reserve some tables.  Looks like we have a full fall lined up.

What restaurant? We will have 4 as for now that's our count. We may have more.

Once I know if I have a job or not (should know more next week) I will sign up for the walk....and I am considering Atlanta in Nov too!  Regions Park isn't that far from my house.
