Friday is here

Friday is here and I know ya'll are glad. I hope it is an awesome weekend. What ya got planned. Me I'm working today. Tonight I go to a different job at 6 and wor****il 6 AM Saturday. Then onto another job and put in a few hours. I plan on doing some work around the house Sat. afternoon and I have got to work a few hours Sunday mornng before church. Other than those things I'm doing nothing this weekend. I am canning beans and pickles today also. I wish I could get some painting done. But probably won't.. But whatever you do this weekend I hope you enjoy it. As we go thru our schedules lets think about the things we can do now that we couldn't do before our surgery and lets give thanks. Some of us would be dead by now if we had not have had the nerve and guts to step up to the plate and have these life changing surgerys. It takes a lot of guts to do all the research and decide to have the surgery. Do some people have problems with it, yes, they do. But by far most people have more benefits than problems. I know if it weren't for my surgery all I would be posting would be I PLAN ON SITTING IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER ALL DAY BECAUSE THATS ALL i HAVE THE ENERGY FOR.  So lets think about all we can do now that we couldn't do before. I'm thankful for even the smallest things like tieing my shoes, crossing my legs, taking a bath without getting winded. and hundred of other little things that we take for granted. Now I've got to go to work but know I've got ya'll in my prayers today. Love, Miss Mary

powerful post here.  So true!  One of the things I did was update my picture on a personals website I use ... before I wouldn't even put a picture cause I was sure that nobody would see me for who I am.

Lots of work here today:  Have to watch video clips of movies all day.  Darn.  haha!  Then this weekend is going to be going to two different churches (I am looking forward to that!), seeing the Time Travelers Wife, and swimming.  I must say that my sagging skin in on my thighs so even though I can swim much better and more easily, I don't like being out in my suit - lol, but it keeps me in the water and moving!  Small blessings!

Great post.  If I had not gotten the surgery I would get out of bed--after grabbing my cane--get my breakfast --that had been fixed for me--eat i****ch TV go back to bed and repeat for weeks at a time.  Sometimes I would get a break and get to go to the Dr.

Howdy Miss Mary!! Great post here. I know one of my big incredibles was being able to wrap a bath towel around me. Oh yeah, and passing by a mirror or window and wondering who has on an outfit like mine. I do a double take and it's me!!! hehe

I'll be at work today and going to pick up my grandkids this afternoon. They will spend the night and tomorrow when I take them home I'll head out to the camper for the weekend. Leo and I love it out there. It's like taking a mini-vacation.

Hello there my wonderful friend.  You always have so much going on.  It is so good to read what you have going on because I know you are back to 100% now.  I missed our wild and wonderful Miss Mary last year when you had your health issues.  Miss Mary was here but the wild had calmed down!!!  Take some time for yourself this weekend!!!

Awesome post!  Had I not had my surgery, I'm sure I'd be on medication for HBP and diabetes, and I'm sure I'd have even more problems with my knees and ankles.  I thank God for the opportunity to repair my health with this tool!  I'm working today (gotta love the mortgage industry right now!)  As of today, I officially have less than 100 lbs left to lose!!  I am off to the beach tomorrow with the girls for a whole week!  I plan on logging miles on the beach and they have a great workout room there too so I can't be a slacker!  Me and my jiggly skin will be in a bathing suit for the world to see.....I just pretend I'm a Sports Illustrated model, and then everyone else will believe it too!!  Have a great day.

I am alive today by the Grace of God! Who sent me here.. without OH and them seeking out Dr. Freeman my liver ezymes would not be normal today!!

I am so thankful for all the things God has given me too Aunt Mary!

Please remember Baldwin County School system today. They are letting 200 support people go.
Not enough in the budget! So it will be teacher aides, mantience, cafeteria workers!!
And they do so much for our schools! I know it will be hard for them and they will be looking for work in a community that has no jobs! :( Pray for all those involved today.

I am off today! I worked for a little over an hour but phones were slow so I got to clock out early!! Wooohoo!! I am going to enjoy the peace of the house today! Saturdays are busy around here with kids, and work and friends and play time!! The phones are so hectic on Saturdays too - all the meanies come out! So I hate working on Saturdays but I have to. At least I am off Sundays to enjoy at our church and with my family!
