New Grandson
We have a new grandson , born Wed night. Sean Andrew Mclain, 6 lbs 11 ozs. he is the new baby of Theresa, who had the twins 2 years ago. They both have mild cases of CP. Sean is perfect except for a little juntice (sp?). While coming home, we stopped at a rest area and Bruce possibly had another stroke, he fell and hit his head. I took him to the ER in Montgomery and he was admitted and checked out. Blood was way to thin, they got that under control and we only had to stay from Thurs until last night. Finally got home and I crashed in the bed about 9 pm.
Anyway , just wanted to share my news with ya'll. Keep us in your prayers.
Love,
Ellen

Congratulations Ellen on your precious new bundle! How excited I know you must be!
His jaundice should clear up in no time.
So sorry to hear of the twins having mild CP...for I Theresa will have her challenges ahead of her as she seeks out help for them now and in the future, as well as other challenges that lie ahead. As a mother with a special needs child, I can truly say that your feelings run from one extreme to another as you are SO BLESSED to have them yet SO CHALLENGED by those around you who cannot accept others who are different. I wouldn't trade my life for anything in this world...I would be Jessie's mom ALL OVER AGAIN for I know it is His perfect plan for me. I pray that Theresa and her bundles of joy are blessed as I have been with my 3!
And Bruce, GOSH! I could hardly believe what I was reading...bless his heart! You both are in my prayers. I pray for healing for Bruce from head to toe...and I pray for you - strength to keep on going.
Great to hear from you my smiling, sweet friend!
Love you,
Jackie

Hi Ellen,
It's good to hear that Bruce is home. Did they ever decide whether it was another stroke? It was so good to see you even for just a little while. I know I probably talked your head off. IT was time for my medicine and I get a little hyper when it gets that time. I realized after I left the hospital that I yakked so much and didn't give you much of a chance to talk at all.
I was really excited to see you and it was good to get a hug from you. You are very special to me...gosh lady, you WERE my two time secret pal!! I didn't realize that Theresa lived in Deer Park. That isn't that far from Debbie Roberts I think. It is north of Mobile and it may be a little west of Debbie and Jimmy.
You, Bruce and your family have been in my prayers and you will continue to be there. Please keep in contact with me. It was good to talk to you and if you don't mind, I will give you a call sometime and check on you too. I will try to wait until a weekend so it won't cost you minutes on your cell.
Give Bruce my love and I am sending love, hugs and kisses to you. Love you!!
