I can't come...the big Catechist Celebration Day I always missed to come to Luverne the last weekend of September is being held the 12th of September this year and I can't miss it!!! 

This is the biggest day of our year...the kick off of our Religious Education programs for the local Catholic Churches and the day our Archbishop is there to commission the Youth Ministry Leaders and the Parish Religious Education Leaders.  It is also the day the Catechists (religion teachers) are honored and training classes are held, a special keynote speaker, etc...  Since I am the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Religious Education for the Archdiocese of Mobile, I have to work that day!  The only reason I was able to take off those other times for Luverne reunions was because the last weekend of September is my birthday weekend and I refused to work on the weekend of my birthday.  Saturday is not a regular workday, but I am required to work when there is a special day like this.  I missed Oak Mountain in April and now Guntersville.  Boo hoo hoo.  I am so bummed.  But I do hope you all have a wonderful time!!  I will miss you all and I will miss meeting alot of people!  Take lots of pictures and post them for me and others who can not attend, please!?!?!

 I know... I hate that you aren't going to make it!  Olivia was asking about you a few days ago - if you & Richard were going to be there!   I had to tell her you weren't!

How have you been stranger?  How are you?  How is the grandson's ankle?  How is Natalie feeling? 

Tiffany, Brittney & Dalton are headed down here in a few hours for a visit.  It is Dalton's 1st time here...we discouraged them from coming due to the TS.  They wouldn't listen!  Just praying for safety for them now. 

I know that this has nothing to do with roll call but I really would like some info on the surgery that I am going to have on the 27th of Aug.  I noticed that you are from Pensacola and I was born and raised there so I felt like I could ask you some questions....  I am having gastic bypass in a week and just wanted to know from someone with personal experience what did you feel like right after surgery?  I know all about the techniques but just want to know the personal side.  What /How did you feel the day you came home?   thank you so much.

I just wanted to pipe in and tell you that I think you are using the best surgeon in  the world.  I used Dr. Freeman and will be 6 years out on Aug 22.  What day will you be doing your surgery?  I also live here in Anniston and would like to go to the hospital and see you if that will be okay.  
 The day after surgery you will think what have I done.  You will feel very sore and have a lot of gas.  When you are given the okay you will need to walk and sip, walk and sip.  Just do what Dr. Freeman and Tim tell you to do and you will do just fine.  PM your name and date of your surgery next week and I will get by to see you.  I am wishing you the best.

That would be fine.  I will have it be admitted the morning of the 27.  As of now I am going to be the first surgery.  See you later.
