Everybody marchs to the beat of a different drummer, or so it is said. Today I am going to march to my own beat. I am going to try to please myself and not worry about pleasing everybody else. So what if somebody gets mad at me. Big deal, I'll survive. And I'm sure they will to. So just for today I strive to be a little selfish and try to put me first.

You GOOOOO Miss Mary!!!!!!  You know...we have to take care of ourselves and love ourselves in order to help others.  You never ever do anything for Miss Mary, so you do just that today and enjoy every minute of it.  I love you and cannot wait to see you in September.  (And BTW...my drummer really really has a different beat .  Just ask my kids.)

I got some BUSINESS to handle 1st thing at work today ~ and it isn't going to be pretty!

Sounds like good news to me.  You have worked your tail off so it is time to be the leader of this band not stuck in the back with the other drummers.  Crash those symbols loud to turn this band around.  I'm following you here.  You are not selfish, you deserve some attention.  I hope this is your best day ever?
