What are you planning to do today?

Are you going to spend time with someone you love?    Go shopping?  Clean?  Babysit?  Study?    Yardsale?  Attend Class?    Hit the beach?   Mow the Grass?  Wash Clothes?  Sew?  Go to Lunch or Dinner with Family/Friends?   Catch a Movie?  Rent a Movie(s)?  Wash the Dog(s)?   Surf the internet?   Write a letter/note to someone letting them know you are thinking of them?    Visit the elderly or homebound?

What are you going to do???

I'll start...
Hubs is OFF today for the 1st time since he started his new job, so we are spending the morning (after he wakes up) running errands.
When we come home, we are LOVINGLY (ha ha) together are going to do chores...he is cutting the grass and I am working on the inside of the house - washing clothes, vaccuming, sweeping/mopping, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning the kitchen, etc.  I am going to enlist help of these "grown folks" who live with us too!   They will also help me  ~ My motto is "As long as you live here, you will help clean!"

No where in the definition of "Mother" does it describe one as a "maid" or  "cleaning lady".
(Definition of Mother:
a woman who has given birth to a child -also used as a term of address to your mother)
I am of the thought that you must teach a child (and teens/young adults) in the way he/she should go, and when he/she is old he/she will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

Enough of my soapbox for today...
So, WHAT are you doing today?????
Let us hear from YOU!!!!

Jackie Honey slow down on the caffine.  While you and Tim are running errands those grown residents could clean the house, maybe.  Me, I have no idea why I continue to wake so early then get sleepy and go take a nap.  Meanwhile, Sleepy Beauty is still asleep because he stayed up late, again.  Even my fur babies won't get up early anymore.  I have a hugh list of things to do but I don't think they are on my Saturday side.  LOL

Have a wonderful day.  Spend it with Tim the house will still be there later.

Take care and God bless.

Brenda...
I wished those "GROWN RESIDENTS" would take enough initiative on their own to clean the house while I was running errands, but frankly, they won't.  Besides, they are still snoozin' too!
I will have to be the FIRE under their tail to get them to "do" with me today!  Besides, when we all get together to get the job done, it doesn't take long to do it.  I appreciate their help.
There will be time for Tim...he will not be left out!
Love ya & Happy birthday my sweet friend!
Jackie

LOL, I was thinking the same thing about the caffeine!  That's quite a list you have there of options.  :-)

In the meantime, I just slept in an extra almost three hours.  The cats were not amused with having to wait for their breakfast .. but they seem to have survived!  Am going to exercise, do homework, and then reward myself with some time reading nonhomework at the pool followed by going to see Julia & Julie.

Hope your day goes wonderfully and that you and hubs get some time to just kanoodle.

Losing my mind!! My son is getting married Sept 12! EVERYTHING is a whirlwind!! So many thngs to do and so little time to do them. Wish there were two of me (not big as two, just two of me) for a few days! I have to clean my house, work on the house my son and his fiancee will be moving into, grocery shop, eat supper with my m-i-l for my birthday, cook for homecoming at church tomorrow, make sure the shower list is organized so I can give it to them at church tomorrow, check with Creative cakes on the grooms cake, and somewhere in the midst of all of this find time for me. I am going to have to go back to work to rest!!!!
