In our own strength, we are not equipped to fulfill God's plan.   He has given us talents and abilites, and He has given us the Holy Spirit to enable and empower us to use our talents and abilities effectively.  As competent as we may become in our own strength, we are never as fully competent by ourselves as we can be if we will allow the Holy Spirit to work in us.  Our competency may be great, but it is never complete until we will allow the Holy Spirit to bless our efforts.
