Thursdays Plan and ramblings.
Ok. so yesterday was pure crap. today, im determined to do better. well. for the most part.
The biggest event from yesterday was......i finalllly made an appointment w/ Dr Suggs which is the WLS that ive been putting off for quite some time. Im not sure why. I think im more scared to get bad news. OR for him to gripe that ive gained 30lbs. Ive never seen him. I havent seen a surgeon since 2006 when Dr Chandler retired. I guess its good im going to get a full work up of labs and such. My appt isnt until the 20th so im hoping to get a few lbs off by then. I constantly feel hungry. I know what head hunger is...and its more than that. i do have head hunger a lot..but most days i actually feel hunger pains when i shouldnt. I dont know, maybe its in me head. ugh.
Today's plan for me is.
B- Protein Shake
atleast 40oz of water in before lunch
L- dieters delight from Dari Delite. Its 2 chicken fingers and a salad. I'll probably have one of the chicken fingers and some salad. Depending on how hungry i am.
S--im not sure that i'll have one. If i do.. it'll be ham roll up w/ hot sauce.
D- 2 ham and cheese rollups.
I WILL NOT detour from my plan today. I need to go update my food for last night. So im headed to do that

The most important thing is to keep up with your health, you did the right thing! As for re-gain....everyone goes through it at some point.....at least you are aware of it and doing something to tackle it....we NEVER are free from our fat demons are we???!!! I know a few post ops that are several years out and they too get the hunger pangs again....they all keep telling me to "enjoy it while it lasts"......I do not miss the constant rumbling in my stomach, and I dread the day it comes back! Several of them eat 6 mini meals during the day and that seems to help....have you tried that? You stay strong and keep at it! Also, look how far you've come and be proud of yourself!
Today, I'm going to have:
B-ww toast with peanut butter (about 3/4 slice)
L-don't know-have lunch plans, don't know where we are going
S-cherries
D-spaghetti and meat sauce
