I am just overwhelmed
by the outpouring of love and support for me. Little ole me!! You will never know how much it means to me. Now this is my Alabama Board!!! I am so glad to be a part of it. Do you want to hear something funny? Jimmy was trying to lighten my mood after the Dr. yesterday (at least I think he was...). When the Dr. told me about the skin graft Jimmy and I were talking about it. He asked where they would get the skin. I told him preferably from someone else...but the Dr. said from my "groin". Now that just hurts to say it!!! Jimmy chimed in and said well you have plenty of skin on your stomach, but I guess they wouldn't want to use that because it is so wrinkled!!! If I didn't have 37 years invested in him I might just kick him!!!

OK. I've gone back and read what this is about and I just wanted to let you know I'm prayin' for ya gal! You're our ladybug and God's child and this is just a little skin cancer problem. BUT, any kind of surgery like that that's going to lay you up for a while is not easy. Just having had shoulder surgery myself, I know it's just a hassle. So I'll pray you get through all of it including the recuperation quickly. And ya know, unfortunately Jimmy is right. We can hide our wrinkly stomachs, but we don't want no wrinkled feets!

Well just for that I think Mr Jimmy ought to give up some of HIS skin for you! Maybe from HIS groin! LOL Gotta love 'em though, don't we, even when they put their foot in their mouth. I can remember right before Rich and I got married he was going to meet his ex-gf at the beach there in St Pete. They used to go walking for a couple of hours on the shore and this was sort of a goodbye before he moved here. They had remained friends and still kept in contact, as friends, but me, as the fiance wasn't so keen on the idea. Well my sweet Rich was trying to reassure me of his love for me and he was trying to tell me he would never do anything with her that he wouldn't do with me there with them, but it came out wrong. He told me 'I won't do anything with her that I wouldn't do with you". LOL Needless to say he has never lived that one down!
